Described by critics as \u2018extraordinary\u2019 with \u2018flawless technique\u2019 and \u2018gorgeous stage presence\u2019, French-Cypriot soprano Sarah Aristidou is a star in the making, and has already worked with a number of major conductors including Daniel Barenboim and Sir Simon Rattle. Sarah has twice been nominated as \u201cBest Newcomer\u201d by Opernwelt (2016 and 2019), and she was awarded the Luitpold Prize for outstanding performance of a newcomer at the Kissinger Sommer Festival (2021), and most recently was the first vocalist in its history to be awarded the Belmont Prize for Contemporary Music (2022). Sarah has played a number of roles in opera houses such as Staatsoper unter den Linden, Oper Frankfurt, Semperoper Dresden, as well as Bayerische Staatsoper, to name a few. She has performed with The Danish Symphony Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, and made her debut in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam with Asko|Sch\u04e7nberg for the world premiere of Thomas Larcher\u2019s The Living Mountain, a piece she recently recorded with the M\u00fcnchener Kammerorchester.
