Cello

Bruno Delepelaire ble født i Frankrike i 1989 og begynte å spille cello som femåring. Etter å ha studert under Philippe Muller ved Konservatoriet i Paris, flyttet han til Berlin i 2012, hvor han fikk undervisning av Jens-Peter Maintz (Kunsthøgskolen i Berlin) og Ludwig Quandt (Orkesterakademiet til Berlinerfilharmonien). Han tok masterkurs hos Wolfgang-Emanuel Schmidt, François Salque, Wen-Sinn Yang og Wolfgang Boettcher. Bruno Delepelaire, som har mottatt flere priser som solist og kammermusiker, ble utnevnt til første solocellist i Berlinerfilharmonien i november 2013.

Bruno Delepelaire was born in France in 1989 and started playing the cello at age five. After studying under Philippe Muller at the Paris Conservatory, he moved to Berlin in 2012 where he received training from Jens-Peter Maintz (Berlin University of the Arts) and Ludwig Quandt (Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic). Master courses took him to Wolfgang-Emanuel Schmidt, François Salque, Wen-Sinn Yang and Wolfgang Boettcher. Bruno Delepelaire, recipient of multiple awards as a soloist and chamber musician, was appointed first solo cellist of the Berlin Philharmonic in November 2013.
